XTAR AWARDS CONTRACT TO CSCThe CSC Florida Miami Teleport has been awarded a contract from XTAR LLC, the major commercial X-band fleet operator, to provide teleport services for XTAR’s satellite operations over Latin America. XTAR chose CSC Florida Inc. for the strategic geographic location of its teleport in Miami, besides its experience and expertise in providing satellite communication supports for both terrestrial and maritime projects from the US into Central America, the Caribbean region and all of Latin America. With this award, CSC broadens its spectrum of satellite band services by adding to its current C and Ku operations the first strategic X-band project.
