CSC Florida Adds 11 Meter Antenna to Miami TeleportCSC of Florida is pleased to announce the addition of an 11 meter KU-band antenna to our Miami teleport. This antenna will provide an extremely reliable service for broadcast and maritime services. CSC has chosen Comtech Xicom to provide redundant high power amplifiers. Additionally CSC chose General Dynamics Satcom out of Kilgore, Texas to provide the antenna and wave-guide systems. David Amundsen, director of engineering for CSC stated, “We are excited about bringing this new system online with greater capabilities for our customers. The weather in south Florida can be challenging at times and the size of this antenna will allow us to bring the best possible service to our customers.” The system is expected to go online on November 20th, 2010 Charles E.
